Day 1: Chiang Mai Arrival.
Welcome to Chiang Mai, which is also called “The rose of the North”! Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for checkin. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Explore Chiang Mai.
Today you will visit Doi Suthep and climb the Naga staircase or catch the cable car to visit the exquisite Golden Pagoda. Visit Wat Chedi Luang, where the famous 'Emerald Buddha' was once enshrined. After a visit to Doi Suthep, continue to discover one of the bestkept secret temples of Chiang Mai, Wat Palad, known as the Temple below the Temple. This temple is a significant element of the Chiang Mai area’s history with its temple grounds aged beyond 650 years old.
Next, proceed to Wat Umong, built in the 14th century, a heavily forested temple covered by moss and small plants offering a unique yet charming sense of natural decay. After a walk through its mysterious tunnels, you reach the Viharn of the temple to experience your own private blessing ceremony. After that, enjoy this lovely day with a delicious bowl of Khao Soy. This famous Northern Thai dish is a combination of coconut cream, crispy noodles and plenty of spice that is sure to delight!
Continue to visit the Three Kings Monument, followed by Chiang Mai City Arts and Culture Center (closed on Mondays and during Songkran festival), located in an old building of elegant architectural design built in 1927. Standing on the location of a former royal hall, the building was used as the central administrative office of Phayap administrative unit of Siam, and later as the Provincial Hall of Chiang Mai.

Day 3: Chiang Mai – Thai Elephant Care Centre.
Today you will experience Ecofriendly activity with one day at Thai Elephant Care Center in the beautiful Mesa Valley. The Elephants here are mostly old or pregnant which need special taking care. You will learn how to prepare food and herbs, take a bath and understand their lives. After lunch at a local restaurant and en route back to Chiang Mai, stop at Elephant Poo Paper, an ecofriendly, naturally built, outdoor museum park focused on introducing and explaining the unique steps involved in making our world famous paper products from elephant poo fibres. Extremely well done and supported by WWF. Next, visit the nearby Siam Insect Museum and butterfly garden, a private collection built over 30 years, before returning to the city.
